Mothers Day Poem
Growing Up
Cast a mold of life and love
The hopes and dreams you're thinking of
A world so big for one so small
The sky, the trees, a big red ball
Soon to crawl, and then to walk
Soon to dream, and then to talk
I have a name, I know I’m me
I taste, I feel, I hear, and see
I wrote my name at school today
I’m learning games the kids all play
I rode my bike with just two wheels
I fell and know how bad it feels
The tests to pass to graduate
The job for which I could not wait
He's all grown up I hear them say
It seems like only yesterday
